Description:
Dasd has been involved in a number of projects intended to improve the flow of traffic throughout the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. These modifications include the removal, replacement, and reconfiguration of escalators, as well as the structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical work required to accommodate the design. The timelines for these projects are typically extremely tight, as the MTCC has scheduled events bookending construction. Phasing is also a critical component, as the building must remain operational during the work. It is crucial that all sub-trades are made aware of these time constraints in the tendering phase, and that all involved have input into the project schedule. Site meetings are scheduled weekly to ensure the projects remain on schedule, and to facilitate communication as required for conflict resolution on site.
