Description:
This important project involved the complete overhaul of multiple large washroom facilities in 3 halls, including demolition, new stone flooring and counters, typical partitions and finishes, and HVAC, sprinkler and electrical modifications. Scheduling was a critical component to the success of this project. The MTCC had numerous scheduled events they had to honour, so work had to halt and resume accordingly. Preliminary schedules were provided to trades in the tendering process to ensure all involved were aware of the scheduling issues. Event schedules at the MTCC were updated bi-weekly, and our construction schedule had to adjust accordingly. This took much flexibility and cooperation from all involved. Communication with the client was vital, and Dasd enjoyed and maintained a great working relationship with the staff at the facility. The project was a success; on time and on budget, with excellent workmanship upheld in these showcase facilities.
