Description:
This project began in the winter of 2007, and the snow came early and heavier than anticipated. The exterior work was delayed due to the poor weather conditions, however the client could not afford to delay the anticipated occupancy date. Dasd made adjustments to substantially increase the man-power on site, while enlisting the support of the sub-trades to pick up lost time. Site meetings were critical to the success of the project, and trades used them as an opportunity to table anticipated issues ahead of time, mitigating the delays. Although almost two months were sacrificed due to the adverse weather conditions, Dasd successfully met the schedule, and the Client was able to occupy the building on the intended date.
